Professor Perfetti's Travelling Italian Fare
This dream project is a labor of love- a collaboration between my gustatorily-gifted business partner and me. To do this project, we formed Cooked Up Concepts, LLC. Professor Perfetti's Travelling Italian Fare is a mobile food vending concept that combines delicious creative takes on traditional Italian cuisine with a fully themed experience that brings the past that should have been to Central Floridians. It takes cues from traveling medicine shows, circuses, and Victorian era sci-fi fantasy. An elaborate storyline has been created that follows the incredible Ugo Perfetti who has traveled vast distances through both space and time and his loyal sidekicks- the naturally hybridized, half poultry, half-bovine, Li’l Russo, and the used oil-powered sous chef assistant, ANTON1.0 on their mission for gastronomical discoveries and delivery of wonderful food and fun occasions to all willing to accept them. A cast of supporting characters- good, neutral, and bad are planned for future marketing and personal connection. The Professor and his crew are set to drop by late 2016/early 2017.
Metalwork
I designed and oversaw routing, painting, production and installation of ornate metal decorations that represented roof crestings, a custom grill for the front of the vehicle, and gallery and serving window adornments.

Faux Stained Glass
Since the Golden SPARK vehicle itself is intended to visually express much of the background story, a faux stained glass piece with metal framing serves as a focal point on the passenger side of the vehicle for guests to discover more about the wonders of the Professor’s transport vehicle. This makes the vehicle a character of sorts of its own. The faux stained glass art was inspired by Louis Comfort Tiffany’s work as well as early Coca-Cola and patent medicine advertisements. We created an effective custom backlight solution for a very narrow space.

3-Dimensional Signage
Multilayered, attention-grabbing signage has been designed and is in production. These include a crest that merges the design sensibilities of an earlier era with those of Victorian time for the hood of the vehicle, a circus-inspired menu board, 2 logo/title signs, and various decorative signs.

2-Dimensional Signage
Again, advertisements describing the miraculous nature of the Professor’s Treatments were designed to emulate patent medicine ads promising good things that the Professor actually can deliver on. These include the awning cover artwork, and vinyl window covers for the two rear windows, as well as informational marketing signs.

Victorian Wallpaper Pattern
For the inside walls of the Golden S.P.A.R.K. (the name of the vehicle itself), I wanted to create a repeating wallpaper design that could be found in a Victorian home and would subtly portray the main characters and Professor Perfetti logo in a stylized filigree-like ornamentation.

Ceiling Tiles
These coverings for the kitchen and cab ceilings were designed to appear as if they are gold-metal embossed tin ceiling tiles. I deconstructed the Professor Perfetti symbol along with making references to the recurring Phoenix motif.

Generator and Propane Tank Boxes
Finally, the containers for housing the generator and propane tank were designed and self-fabricated to give the impression of steamer trunk-type luggage.
